"We had 4 types of rooms. All was good and had everything we needed. The TV didnt work in our room though was not there to watch tele. The staff was very helpful especially the General Manager. We stayed over the Christmas period so the hotel was fully booked. There seemed to be alot of broken sunbeds and umbrellas that was much needed !! The breakfast was good and enough choice. "The room is nice and has a beautiful view. The bathroom is big, but it is screaming for a renovation. The toilet is stained and disgusting. You also have to walk on the sand to get to the hotel. Literally there is no road or pavement that leads you to the hotel, so every time you leave the hotel you will get your feet and/or shoes dirty. It is also a good 20-minute walk away from the main area, which limits your convenience to get food or anything. Besides the sand, you will also have to go up...

"We stayed 5 nights oceanfront king bed villa 114. Room was very spacious. Right beside bar restaurant that opened at 11am. Other restaurant was open for breakfast. Omlette station was good. Other fruits, coffee etc was decent. 2 pools on one side and one pool on other aide of villa. Staff and servers were extremely friendly and helpful. Live music Sunday and Thursday night's along with nice fire show. I will come again and will stay for a month! Gorgeous beach! Ocean good for swimming....

"Cannot fault this hotel. The pool is lovely and all the rooms are pool side. Room was large and really nice and clean, aur con, water pressure and wifi worked well. Couldn't figure out the tv though but no biggie. It is set between the street and beach with direct access to both so you get the best of both worlds of Long Beach. Will definitely be staying again. "This is a beautiful property, removed from the main hotels and buisness around Tonsai Pier, but still walkable through about 20 minutes of marked, paved pathways (minus a few beach detours). It’s great if you’re looking for a little quieter atmosphere but still want to be close enough to the main shops for activities and dining"

"We had a bungalow facing the water. There is a pathway between the hotel and the beach, but the view is still nice. There are shops and restaurants on the beach a few minutes walk away. We rented a scooter at the hotel in good condition. And travelled around the island. Fun times. I like this location in comparison to the south or north of the island. I found Salam Dan not to be in the same standard. Recommend staying in this area. "

"Great location. Helpful staff. Breakfast not great but lunches and evenings in the restaurant very good. The owners need to spend some money on it. The shower head didn't reach the holder on the wall because the hose was too short. One handed showers not good enough. Could be much better but an enjoyable stay overall. "

"Great place to stay on a quick return journey to Koh Lanta. Had been to the hotel many times before, but never to stay as a guest. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Balcony was very nice and had a great view of the sunset. Wifi was strong, if that’s your thing. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Overall it’s a lovely hotel and has a great location. "Worst hotel experience we've honestly ever had. Our air con broke one night into our stay so the room was a sweat box. We had a total of 6 people come in to our room to confirm it was broken, they said they could offer another room to so we packed up our stuff ready to move then they retracted the offer saying they had no room availability. It was only when I asked for a refund for the rest of our stay that they then miraculously found a spare room for us to spend 1 night in and called out...

"Can’t review this hotel as we booked a three night stay and when we arrived told there was no room for us on the first night but there was on the other two nights. The hotel did book us into another place which was out of town and had no pool. The booking had been accepted over a week ago so really no excuse to double book the room. So be cautious on booking this hotel."

"We came to ko lanta in low season and the island seemed quieter than we expected. It gave us a chance to really relax around the beautiful resort based right on Klong nin beach. "The nature that this guesthouse sits on is epically beautiful. There were many different rooms and camping options, and we got the higher end upstairs room, which was really really nice. "Amazing stay for our first long haul family holiday. Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again."

"HIGHLY recommend Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum. We stayed in the deluxe sea view bungalow. This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our month in Asia. The rooms were CLEAN, even to my standards and the staff is so kind. The island is so quiet and peaceful, with countless restaurants nearby. "

Great location and stay - avoid the bar though.

"We had a great stay here. For the price and location, you can’t do better on Koh Lanta! My only complaint is the beach bar - they have 2 for 1 cocktails (220 thb) and we ordered one. They were so small you could literally pour them together in one cocktail glass and that still didn’t make a Norma size drink. We complained to the staff about it, but they did not care. Last drink we had there! As long as you skip those drinks, it’s a five star property!"

"Nice modern rooms. Far from walking street but you can take a Tuk Tuk. The hotel is quite and has nice nature. The beach is rocky but you can find a small opening for swimming. The lounge by the ocean is very nice for an evening drink. The pool is decent. You can get massages with a beautiful ocean view. "
