"Best resort I've ever stayed in "

"Moonlight Bay Resort We spent 8 nights at Moonlight Bay Resort and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is situated directly on Klong Nin Beach and has its own secluded beach. There are two pool areas and a nice restaurant and bar. We stayed in a pool view room which was a good size with a huge balcony overlooking the pool and the creek and were able to watch a great variety of wildlife from the balcony in the early evening. Breakfast was included and had a good selection of food. One tip: get a second coffee maker!! The morning coffee queue is painful! The pool and beach area are quiet and there is no morning battle for sunbeds. We snorkelled off the beach and there was a bit to see underwater but not much. The hotel is about one mile from the main Klong Nin beach area which has a plethora of beach bars, restaurants and massage parlours. We chose to walk in and back each evening but there is always a taxi or two waiting outside the hotel if needed. I only have one real criticism. We decided to attend the Wednesday Seafood Barbecue and Fire show and turned up at the scheduled time of 7pm. There was already a large queue so we ordered a drink, joined the queue and made our order. By this time, we got the very last jacket potato and all the corn was gone. (There were still a number of people behind us in the line.) We placed our order (fish and squid) and went back to our seats. It was the one and a quarter hours until our food arrived. "The rooms are big and spacious. The bathrooms are outdoor so unique and refreshing. The breakfast was delicious and the location was great. Id recommend this stay. We enjoyed ours."

"Our room was beautiful, large comfy bed, great shower, clean yet homely. My favourite part was the lovely outside balcony with large and d very comfortable hammock, it was worth paying the extra for this room type. The location is great if you re happy to be be away from the main town, although we walked into town twice and found it a fairly easy and very pretty walk. I really liked being away from the hustle and bustle. Long beach is a short but steep walk away, this would be a nice place to stay, with some good snorkeling (we saw the black tip reef sharks t shark point) but not as pretty as Viking Resort bay. The restaurant at the resort was better than I expected, not the best food ever but the fried rice was super tasty and prices not too high. Lots of choice at breakfast. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Overall very happy with my choice to stay here and would recommend. "

Rawi Warin was brilliant - the room was stunning and very comfortable and the facilities throughout the hotel are all brilliant - amazing breakfast buffet, 2 great pools in the main area, pool bar and restaurant was superb. The staff throughout the resort were amazing and our 2 year old loved it. We would not hesitate to book again."
