Luxuriously equipped second floor 1-bedroom apartment at the exclusive Vila Verde Resort.
This spacious apartment offers a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, washing machine, fridge freezer and microwave as well as a balcony overlooking swimming pool with pool bar and restaurant.
The apartment benefits from one double bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge, so can easily sleep up to 4.

There is a lift which is easily accessible by wheelchair.

Situated in a quiet location with Ponta Preta or Kite beach only a 10-minute walk.

There is a free shuttle bus service to the holiday town of Santa Maria or you can take a short taxi ride for 3/4 euros or enjoy a 20-minute walk.

Santa Maria offers glorious white sandy beaches and clear blue seas, plenty of bars and excellent restaurants offering all varieties of cuisine, including the locally caught fresh fish
.
There is also plenty of scuba diving, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing and island tours available as well as segways and quad bikes to hire.

With the 'No Stress' way of life and all year around sunshine this is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Exactly What We Were Looking For!
We had originally booked at another accommodation, but at the last minute we changed our mind and booked this apartment with Jason. So glad we did! This beautiful apartment did not disappoint and every aspect has been thought out well. Everything you need from an apartment is there as well plenty of travel adapters, books, dvds and there's even an xbox! Gorgeous view from the balcony and super friendly staff at the resort. This place is situated in an ideal location where you're not in the thick of all the town centre noise and can have tranquillity. But it's only a 15 minute walk to Santa Maria town centre if you want it. There are daily free shuttle buses going there or a 3 euro taxi ride. There are no shortages of taxis on the island. I'd definitely stay here again if we returned to Cape Verde!

Home From Home
Vila Verde is a little out of town but do not let that put you off. There are ample options to getting into town from the free shuttle bus, taxi €3 or walking 15 mins. The apartment is well maintained with all you would expect. During our stay we had a couple of minor issues which were resolved immediately by Lizy the manager. Jason the owner communicated with us prior to the visit and all questions were promptly answered. Vila Verde itself is very quiet but has a small supermarket, bakery, pub and restaurants. We ate out in Santa Maria most nights and found the place to be charming. The locals are friendly and love to chat, they are very proud of their island and it’s moto “no stress”. One important point Sal is not U.K. it is a remote island so be aware many things are not available on the island so plan ahead if you have special requirements.

One week on the island of Sal
Very nice place to stay, good pool area, short walk to Santa Maria. Safe and well maintained apartment. Welcoming and helpful hosts. No sun on the terrace, but enough sun in the pool area. Good view to kiting area and "desert". Transport was really easy to find, taxis outside the reception at all times. Free bus to Santa Maria several times every days.

Komfortables Apartment in guter Lage
Die Wohnung ist modern, sauber, gut eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet. Von der Balkonterrasse mit Teakholz Möbeln blickt man auf den Pool und eine gepflegte Gartenanlage. Hier hat man Free WiFi von der Poolbar. Aber auch in der Wohnung ist ein Access Point mit SIM Karte. Ein Gbyte Daten kosten rund 3€. Es gibt einen Flachbild TV und eine XBox mit etlichen Spielen und viele gute DVD mit aktuellen Filmen. Auf dem TV ist u.a. BBC, VH1, Fox und AXN empfangbar. Die Küche hat ausreichend Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck- alles sauber und gepflegt. Backofen, Mikrowelle, Toaster, Herd mit 4 Platten und elektrischer Wasserkocher sind vorhanden. Ein Warmwasser Boiler 30 Liter sorgt für angenehmes Duschen. Sogar eine Waschmaschine ist vorhanden. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Im Preis sind keine versteckten Kosten,- Strom und Wasser sind inklusive und werden nicht extra berechnet. Der englische Vermieter Jason Wright ist sehr nett und steht für Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Vor Ort ist Herr Trevor Wilson, ebenfalls Engländer, der uns die Wohnung übergeben hat. Die Kaution von 200£ wurde noch vor Abreise zurück erstattet. Vom Flughafen ist es eine 20- 30 minütige Taxi Fahrt für 15€. 3 Minuten Fussweg von der Wohnung ist ein Mini Market für erste Einkäufe. In Santa Maria ist der Supermarkt CAZU zu empfehlen.
