"Property was nice and freshly remodeled only thing id would complain about is 2 nd floor bathroom lock is on backwards and the chairs need rubber grommets on the bottom we used them once and spent forever getting the scratches out of the floor and also there were not drinking cups but besides that amazing place "

"My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. "This hotel has only one guest house, not room. The house has two bed rooms with two single bed in each. You can play piano if you wish. Big bath, small kittchen clean toilet to stay number of days with a family or friends. Food is not math produced. We have had a game (November) in Italian style for dinner. Hotel is more than 200 year old historical buirding but well maitained. Owner explains building and it's uniqe history. It was our own way from Koya-mountain to Nara by car."

"It is a small house with japanese modern contemporary interior design. All self checked in and out without any human assistance. The only downside is the place is just too far from the subway stations. For travellers with large luggages, it may not be a convenient place. The house is located in a local residential area, so its quiet."

"The area around the bed has not been cleaned, the heater only warms to the living room remote control, and the gate is broken, so I contacted him all morning and managed to fix it. The air conditioner used as a heater is dusty and the closet door in the second bedroom is broken. I have used it many times, but this was the worst accommodation ever."

"This was a modern property with everything and more we needed. The onsite restaurant is expensive but there are other options around. Know that if you only have a JR pass and come in at JR Nara it's a 3.5km walk to the hotel - doable in nice weather and because its flat or get on a bus! We loved the new, clean features and the practical laundry was great for travellers."

"The hotel was clean and convenient to both the train station and the park/area. The one negative is that the hot springs/ public bath that is advertised is an additional charge once you arrive at the property. "

"Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms with efficient and unobtrusive elevators. Well above average attractive restaurant for all three major meals. Responsive concierge services 24/7. Only a couple of the overly numerous front desk staff speak reliable English. As in all Japanese hotels I have used, very poor TV offerings in English, almost pointless. I have stayed at this hotel for two to three week stays in three of the past eight years as I have family in Tokyo. Would have been more except for stringent Japanese COVID restrictions. Entirely honest in billing. Fair costs but well above average for travelers with budget worries who should probably stay elsewhere."
