"This Hotel is composed of a lot of separate townhomes. Double-level, so it is roomy. But stairs are steep at night and a green arrow is lit in the bedroom all night."

"The picture, the huge crab aquarium at the entrance, the crab marking on the room numbers tell it all, this is a Ryokan for eating really good crab. Sakai, is a far place, and it is pretty old and run down, but it would all be worth it for the crab. So you can imagine my surprise when I learned that ..."

This place is called sunset beach for a reason. Gorgeous sunsets can be seen here all summer long. In Early August they have the Mikuni Fireworks Festival which is the largest fireworks show in Hokuriku. The summer time they also have a bar set up on the beach every night that serves indonesian food and drinks. This beach is popular with the local surf crowd. If there is any wave at all there will definitely be surfers out in the water. #goldenhour
