"Second stay here on our journey back to UK from Portugal. Great place, clean, comfortable and the owner is a gentleman. Local restaurant was closed this time of year, which was a shame as it’s really good food and good value but the owner pointed us to a place about 9 km away and the food was good and dogs were welcome. We will be back during our travels. Thanks"

"I love this hotel, it has so much character and is so well appointed, perfect for a stay in Laguardia. I have stayed here each time I have been to the town and it has been excellent each and every time. Staff was more than friendly, the rooms are fantastic, the food is fantastic, it’s a wonderful place to stay hands down"

Fantastic, historic building.

"Absolutely beautiful building. We enjoyed the ambience and swing-jazz music playing softly in the glass-ceilinged courtyard. We appreciated having two armchairs and a coffee table. It is a shame that the housekeeping team were unable to remove or mask the unpleasant smell in our room. It seemed to come from the basin in the bathroom but permeated into the bedroom. "
