"Large house very well set up for comfortable enjoyment, especially the kitchen was well suited for people who like to cook. It was exciting to be surrounded by vineyards while harvest was in process. Imagine sitting by your pool while a grape picking truck up the hill moves about the vineyard picking the grapes - fabulous! Maureen was very helpful with any questions. Loved being out in the countryside rather than in a city. Close to markets each day & an hour+ from Bordeaux & St Emilion....

We only saw her once outside of check in and check out and that was to bring some new umbrellas, but she was eager to help and provide us with information of the surrpunding areas. "Mr Onillon was a great host, meeting us at the property and again at departure. A genuinely lovely man. The property is very comfortable and well equipped. We cycled a lot and there are good routes both ways along the Dordogne with Bergerac 20k away, plus a number of Bastide villages all around. Bordeaux is an hour in a car and Sarlat, La Roque and Domme all around 90 minutes away. Huge supermarket 2 minutes away in the car and a big Saturday market in St Foy. We really enjoyed our week in...
