"Fantastic farmhouse on the slopes of Mont Ventoux in a small village amongst the vineyards. The host is very welcoming and charming. The room we stayed in was very clean and tidy. On suite bathroom shower. The room had air conditioning. Very comfortable beds. Very large garden to enjoy along with a nice cool pool. Parking was in the grounds of the farmhouse. "Friendly welcome and very comfortable room. The swimming pool is beautiful. Excellent breakfast. The kitchen area for guests is well-equipped and very useful. The local area is varied and interesting - off the beaten tourist track, but a must for wine-lovers. Good markets in local towns and villages, and Roman remains to explore. My second stay at Vieux Platanes, and I am sure to return."

"This is a fabulous place with lovely owners. It feels like a quiet oasis. We were there during a heatwave (40 degrees) but inside the rooms felt beautifully cool. We stayed in the museum room which was large, the bed was big and super comfortable. There’s a bath in the room (something my husband really wanted) and I made the assumption that there would be a walk in shower. But there isn’t, instead it’s a hand held shower in the bath so you can feel quite on display showering in the room and I...
