"4 night stay in late February. We booked a 2 bed apartment( 1 double and small room with bunk beds). Had corner balcony overlooking the Liane river towards town. Heating worked a treat intact had to open windows to cool down. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, resolved an issue with broken hair dryer swiftly. Booked parking for our stay in the underground car park belonging to Evancy. Checkout is usually 10.00 but we paid the extra to extend until 14.00. deposit taken on arrival was back in my account by the evening of our return home. Apartment is a15 min stroll into main shopping/ restaurant area. A longer steep uphill trek to the walled town ( approximately steady 30 mins."

"Lovely hotel in a lovely town, but I would have felt more welcome if the communication from the hotel had an English translation under the text in French. I understand that the hotel mainly caters to French customers, but being an international hotel and so close to the UK, I would have expected the text in English as well. The staff were all great and helpful, so the stay was very positive."
