"The gite was fine and generally well supplied with what was needed. However, this is the first gite we have stayed in where there was no binder/notebook with information about the appliances, attractions in the local area, etc; there was no mention of organics disposal. The lighting was generally poor, ie only one bedside lamp, not two, poor lighting in the main living area. If these were corrected, the rating would be higher. It would have been helpful to have directions to property a week or...

"The house was wonderful - lots of room and everything you needed there. Host was very responsive. The location has a great view and is 15 mins from the next town which has lots of wonderful activities. We enjoyed our stay."

"Arrived at this location to walk into a full floor view from both levels of the house. Open area that makes social time and meal time a breeze. Even though it was March break the deck was amazing with the glass wrap around to eliminate any wind and allow viewing of the sunset over the mountains. Will definitely book again."

"What a great find! This house has been beautifully updated, but still maintains the rustic feel of a cabin. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the host was very responsive. The summer weather allowed us to enjoy the gorgeous wildflower garden out on the porch. My family enjoyed visiting the beach, local icecream and pastry shops, the Maritime Museum and the Astronomy Observatory."

"Everything was as advertised, and the view was even better than we expected -- gorgeous view of the river. We went in leaf season, and the property was gorgeous. It was very secluded and quiet, but not too far from things. Everything was clean and well thought out and the hosts were very responsive. We'd definitely stay here again. "

"Yves and Sylvie were warm and welcoming and communicated with us easily in English. Their home is spotless and beautifully decorated and a beautiful example of the type of building of the time. Typical of a home of the time, there are stairs to get to the rooms giving you a view of the St. Lawrence. Breakfast was personal and excellent with many choices including fresh eggs."

"Great location and an incredible view ! Must say a few things though, small details to make it better; Spa is installed with seats facing parking, not the view... disapointing. No simple hooks whatsover to put towels. Downstairs shower drain doesn't work very well. Besides that, very nice place, very modern. We enjoyed it. "
