The town of Uzes is only a few minutes walk away from the house so it was very convenient for all the bars and restaurants. Don’t miss the huge Saturday market, best in the area. "Beautiful house in a quaint little village. Very quiet and plenty of room for our group of 5 adults. Pool was fabulous during the hot weather. Our host, Dominique, was amazing when we had a medical emergency to deal with and our son had to be admitted to a nearby hospital. She couldn't have been more helpful and understanding during a stressful time for us. Hope we get a chance to go back sometime to enjoy this fantastic part of France."

"We had a wonderful stay with our kids and their grandparents at the house and Jan and his family were there to greet us and couldn't have been nicer. The house and property are in a great location for peace, quiet and beautiful nature! There was lots to do with Anduze and Alès being so close and the house was great to spend the day at as well! Nice hikes, swimming in the pool, BBQing, reading in the hanging chairs and dinners over looking the mountains was so relaxing. We highly recommend this...

"Easy walkable access to historic and beautiful Uzes sites and downtown. Our host couldn't have been more helpful, making us feel welcome. Perfect for couples or families. Our only quibble is that while there are two bathrooms, only one has a toilet. Would happily stay there again "

"We were happy with the villa. Many mod cons and space. We enjoyed our stay. Improvement recommendations, there were no plastic glasses so I went and got some for us as it’s not safe to have glass near a pool. And you have to drive your recycling to a site but there were no addition bins to hold this during the week so we had to drive to a recycling bin every day. Would have been better with plastic glasses provided and some bins to help store the rubbish in different categories so we could take...
