"We completely enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely, all the amenities you could need. Photos don’t do it justice. We made family dinners and dined out on the terrace over looking the valley. The house and pool made for a relaxing week. The setting is pastoral with day trips to historic sites. The area is filled with medieval history and eco tourism. And of course the WINE, and vineyards. "A little gem in the quiet village of l’Abergement de Cuisery, 5 minutes from the historical center of Tournus and the wine villages of Southern Burgundy. Absolutely no noise other than birds, a private entrance to the dwelling and a motorized gate to access the parking area. Great place to stay!"

"A lovely property in a great location. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and it's a great base for exploring the area with its fantastic vineyards. It took us a while to find a good boulangerie for our breakfast bread and croissants, but we did eventually find one in St Gengoux - worth the 11km round trip. If you like walking or cycling then you'll love the Voie Verte. Good places to visit: St Gengoux, Cormatin castle, Solutré, Cluny, Taizé, Beaune."

"Well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable. Plenty of storage for cases and accessories. Beds very comfortable, great shower! Good secluded patio area with plenty of seating and the benefit of a small pool. Off road, safe and secure parking. Good WiFi. Area excellent for touring the Beaujolais region with great local road connectivity. Our warm and friendly hosts were more than generous leaving wine and basic provisions for a few breakfasts. Good city centre hotel

"Easy check in. Polite staff. Directed us to hotel parking precisely. Room small but functional. Nice bathroom, modern. Breakfast a good choice, but juice, eggs not replaced. Coffee was horrible. Left to stew. Hotel needs a proper coffee machine. Was only let down of this hotel. "

"We were driving from Bordeaux to Frankfurt and chose this hotel from Expedia’s site on a Friday because it had onsite parking and a restaurant. After checking in the receptionist told us (a) the hotel’s parking area was not safe so we should not leave any bags in the car and (b) the restaurant was closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday ! We couldn’t get a refund but we found another hotel a few kms away with a secure parking lot and two restaurants, so we relocated. "

Ibis Styles if you're not hungry but do need sleep

"The welcome and check in was excellent. The room was great and is the best Hotel bed I have ever slept in 5***** superb. We booked for dinner and on arrival shown to out table. We were presented with a QR code to use!? Being technophobes I asked to order and pay for food in the normal way - I was simply handed a itablet - no instruction and no-one attended us again so after 30 mins we left and used a restaurant along the street. Not very happy about this, there appeared to be only 2 people dealing with orders and serving running around in a chaotic way. The following morning I had an issue with my mobile phone and the reception desk lady bent over backwards to help. Thank you."

Overnight stay.

"Pleasant hotel and very good position for getting on/off motorway en route south. Comfortable room and comfy beds! No aircon and room very hot ...it was 33° outside. Had to open window which meant lots of flying things came in! Nice to get a kettle in the room.....a definite plus when in France. Most hotels do not offer this. Only gripe is paper cups...our drinks , both hot and cold began to seep through the bottom of them! Please use proper mugs! Good breakfast although basic!"
