"A lovely, friendly and relaxing place to stay. Our host was very knowledgable about the area and was happy to offer advice about places to see. It was helpful that the proprietor spoke fluent English in addition to several other languages. Lovely swimming pool. Great to have use of a well stocked kitchen. I would recommend Locatlantique to anyone hoping to explore the vicinity of La Rochelle."

"This is a very special place to stay - the rooms are comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast is not just a croissant with some jam, it is absolutely delicious and creative, lovely cheeses, tomato salads, beetroot with herbs, local meats and wonderful breads. The hosts are very warm, welcoming and helpful. There is also an adorable Labrador Retriever to greet you in the mornings. All in all a great place to stay."

"We had a lovely stay here. The reception staff were really welcoming and helpful. I was a bit surprised because the room picture was of twin beds with space between, but it was made up as a double. I was travelling with my son, so ended up sleeping on the sofa bed, which was easy to pull out, had a bottom sheet already on and additional pillows etc were in the cupboard. The wall cupboards weee tricky for me, as I’m only 5’1” tall!! Fortunately my son is 6’ tall and was willing to reach things...
