"Self-service entry into the building. Entry instructions were comprehensive. Comfy bed but the pillows left something to be desired. Having said that, if you make them too nice, then they can go walkabout. The breakfast was great and set us up for the day."

"We stayed for two nights in the Studio (NOT shown on the website, the advertised apartment was already booked) which was secure and very compact with comfortable double bed with single bunk above. Free range eggs, fresh coffee, bread for toasting, fruit, yogurts provided. All facilities as stated. Friendly welcome from Stephanie"

Marie was so friendly and welcoming. She made sure our kids felt welcomed with stuff to do inside and outside. They loved playing with her super friendly dogs and running around the garden. "Andre and Nicholas are amazing hosts, the room(s) - we stayed on two occasions, on our way to our friends and on the way back- are exquisitely furnished, excellent facilities, superb breakfasts and just a truly amazing place to be. Slightly off the beaten track which is a benefit in itself, so quiet and amazing stars at night. Andre booked us a table at a local restaurant and that was excellent as well. Absolutely no hesitation in saying it was one of the best overnight stays we have ever had...

"There were 10 of us. Dining area was large and accommodating. Lounge area only had enough seating for 7. Not enough lounges and cushions in the garden area. Indoor pool was the most used area, great for the kids. Very quiet and peaceful."

"This is in a retirement complex within walking distance (1km) of the centre of Lisieux. The room we had was good, with a kitchen with Hob and microwave and a dining area. At the weekend the access to the building is by key code and the reception is not manned all the time. Very quiet. The set up seems quite surreal, but actually works well."
