"We loved the property. Although it’s old in a goed way, it was also very clean. We loved the outdoor areas too. You do have to drive a bit to buy your bread but it’s worth it. Details we loved: there was a bottle of good white wine offered to us, if we had a question, like “where can we buy some good wine”, we got their personal list of vineyards and when we ware all admiring the water wheel, the owner took the effort of removing the top cover so we could enjoy the wheel turning. Lovely people! Also, there was firewood waiting in the fireplace, ready to go and there was charcoal available for the bbq. We hope to visit again."

"This was a great hotel with friendly staff. There are not a lot of options for food/drink within walking distance, but there are multiple villages with a 5 mile radius. "

"Lovely hotel with modern comfort and beautiful views. Wine bar in hotel and breakfast offered each morning with both hot and cold options. Great location to walk around Sancerre and also close to many walking paths. I'd suggest getting a room with a balcony or view of the valley. "

"Plenty of room in the gite and the bedrooms nicely done but the kitchen area was sparse and a bit unappealing (not the most comfy environment). "
