Relaxing week in the foothills of the Alps.
We received an extremely warm welcome from Jean-Louis and Nicole to begin a memorable week in the foothills of the Alps. The studio is a 5 minute walk to Saint Vallier where there are bars, restaurants and a weekly market. It is also within walking distance of an Intermarché (with a petrol station) which we found very convenient. The studio itself seems bigger on the inside than outside as the space has been used intelligently. It is clean, well-equipped has a comfortable bed and air-conditioning. Outside there is plenty of room to sunbathe but a canapé and large parasol provide ample shade if, like me, you struggle a bit in temperatures over 30! I have happy memories sitting around the pool sipping a cold beer and reading L'Equipe with the mountains providing a spectacular backdrop! Grasse is a 15 minute drive away. We spent a day there and also used the station there (free car park) to catch a train to Nice (10 euros return/1hr each way). For beach lovers it stops at Cannes, Antibes and Juan-les-Pins on the way and after Nice goes on to Monaco. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property. The week there reminded me why I love France so much!

Perfect family holiday
Due a stressful period at work, we booked this property last-minute and it turned out to be the best holiday decision we’ve ever made. We were primarily looking for a property with good access to amenities, a bbq, away from the hustle and bustle and most importantly it needed to have a swimming pool. Nicole and Jean Louis’ home ticked all the boxes! We spent a total of a week here with our two children (5 and 3) and we all fell in love with it instantly. The hosts met us at the property and made sure we had everything we needed for the week, then left us to our own devices for the entire stay. We ventured out to the surrounding towns and villages which are picturesque and the people are really welcoming too! The Boulangerie in Cabris (Parmi Nous) is well worth a visit, though you need to get there early or you’ll miss out on all the good stuff. Grasse is a pretty town to wander around and we had some amazing charcuterie at Les Delicatesses de Grasse. Le fil du goût in Saint Vallier de Thiey was also superb! We went to a brilliant cove in Theole Sur Mer where our kids did their first ever snorkelling and would highly recommend a visit here over the densely packed sandy beaches near the big towns. Even though the whole area is amazing, our kids favourite place was the house with the pool which they would have honestly stayed in permanently if they could and these were the best days too! All in all, our holiday was absolutely perfect and we can’t wait to book again!

Saint Vallier est un beau village à visiter. Le studio dans lequel nous avons séjourné était charmant avec de très beaux extérieurs. Nous y avons passé des vacances très reposantes. Les propriétaires nous avaient confié leur propriété et avons pu profiter pleinement des espaces à notre disposition et notamment la piscine. Les échanges avec les propriétaires ont été agréables. Nous recommandons ce logement pour toutes les personnes qui souhaitent visiter la région et se reposer au calme.

Séjour de rêve
Quelle semaine de rêve ! Un accueil chaleureux de la part des propriétaires qui nous ont confié leur cocon. Nous avions la piscine rien qu’à nous :) C’était l’idéal avec mes 2 petites filles de 7 et 9 ans. La piscine était à 1,5 m de profondeur, parfait pour l’apprentissage de la nage. Nous étions au calme avec une vue imprenable. En quelques minutes nous étions dans le bourg. A 200m il y a INTERMARCHÉ (très pratique) Beaucoup de choses à visiter à côté. Nous étions vraiment bien placés. C’était difficile de partir… Nous gardons l’adresse précieusement car nous aimerions revenir.

Formidable !!!
C est un cadre idyllique, avec une magnifique vue sur la montagne. La piscine est au top. Les lieux sont d une propreté impeccable. Nos enfants ont adorés les lieux et étaient déçu de partir. Nous avons passés de bons moments et nous reviendrons sans soucis lors d un prochain périple. Nicole et Jean Louis sont des personnes vraiment adorable, ils mettent à l aise dès l arrivée. On se sent comme chez nous. Ils sont très discret et à la fois très disponible si l on a besoin. Ils discutent avec les enfants, ce que nos enfants ont appréciés. Nous recommandons à 100%.

Un cocon chaleureux
Nous avons avons passé d’agréables vacances avec mes enfants. Le studio est confortable et climatisé avec une très belle terrasse extérieure avec sa jolie piscine. Il y a une belle grotte à visiter dans le village et le lac de St CASSIEN pour les baignades. Nous pouvons aller au village à pied et également à Intermarché qui est tout près de la maison. Nicole et Jean-Louis sont adorables et très discraits. C’est une adresse que je recommande et que je garderai. Merci encore à Nicole et Jean-Louis pour leur accueil.

Fint sted med dejlig terrasse og pool område, dog var det en stor skuffelse at jacuzzien som var beskrevet i bolig annoncen ikke var der. Et super område hvis man vil ud og vandre i naturen, men ellers ikke det store at se i forhold til hvor vi ellers har holdt vores ferier. Atelieret indeholder de nødvendige faciliteter til en familie med op til 4 personer. Udlejerne er venlige og imødekommende. Marineland i Antibes kan klart anbefales.

Séjour absolument parfait. Les propriétaires sont des gens formidables avec un sens de l’accueil hors pair, ils sont plus que gentils et en même temps discrets et à l’écoute. "Un séjour inoubliable dans un petit coin de paradis !

Wonderful stay
We spent 2 weeks at Nicole's property and had a lovely time! We had the outside garden area all to ourselves as Nicole and her husband closed that side of their house for maximum privacy. It was extremely peaceful and we enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and bbq which were just for us. The pretty village is a 5-minute walk and has a variety of restaurants and patisseries. A large supermarket and petrol station is also a 5-minute walk from the property. We drove into local villages and towns like Cabris, Grasse, Cannes and Nice so if you don't fancy lounging by the pool there is plenty to see nearby. The property is even nicer than in the photos and the studio has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only negative was the killer mosquitoes which are out in force all day but that was to be expected in the south of France! Nicole and her husband were great hosts and we would definitely return!
