"The dinner was the best bit and the hosts were kind and welcoming! Everything else was a bit less than average. We were looking for a short stay with a spa and had used the filter in hotels.com to select the B&B. On arrival we were very surprised that the spa is not included in the room we had booked and were forced to upgrade. This was extra strange because the hot tub is not attached to the "suite" as you might expect. Instead its directly next to the main entrance which is also the kitchen....

"What an amazingly, beautiful, hotel and Emilie the absolute perfect host. The attention to detail is first class and no effort is spared to make your visit memorable. "We'd definitely recommend The Squirrel's Nest. A lovely house and owners. Our room was great, spacious en suite bathroom, air conditioning which with temperatures of 40 degrees outside (canicule), was really appreciated, tea and coffee making facilities on the landing. "This was the highlight of our trip to the midi-Pyrenees. Set in a tiny village in rolling hills, close to many delightful medieval towns and the amazing city of Albi. (best to locate on google maps on phone - not the TomTom) Isabelle made us very welcome - she emailed me 2 days before to ask what time to expect us, if we wished to have dinner, and any food preferences..
