"The gravel road to the gite was awful. There was no welcome pack. The air conditioning had to be switched on by request. We had an ant incursion in the kitchen. The pool cleaner was left in the pool for 2 days making swimming difficult. Didn’t see Tiphaine during the stay - all contact was done remotely. However, the bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the views were amazing"

Easy walking distance (literally 200 meters max) to town and all the things you might need (i.e. grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, market etc. That said, it is still in a quiet location. "We stayed with our children. Mme Mangeot was very Kind and helpful. She made a lot of suggestions as to where to visit after we told us what our interests were. It feels very much in the country (birds singing, quiet) although it was about .5-1 hour from most of the places we wanted to visit. The drives to those places were also interesting and full of stops at local places (Saigon Village nearby is beautiful) so it didn’t feel too out of the way. We would definitely come again!"

"It was very nice. The outdoor space and pool We’re great and the unit was very clean. We were surprised the unit was attached to owners home as it was advertised as private. There were some things that we would have considered ‘essentials’ that were not provided - like towels, extra garbage bags, dish and hand soap, extra toilet paper. The owner clarified that these were not listed as included, so if you are staying here we would recommend bringing extra supplies from a larger town."

We had some problems with the host prior to the stay, so mutually we were asked to provide 1,000 euro deposit which was surprising and also not per contract terms. We had to complain to Vrbo before the host would relent on this. Not a great start to the holiday."
