From the moment we walked thru the door, we could see and feel the elegance / class of the hotel, and of its staff. Beautiful and comfortable lobby, bar, patio... elegant dining room, relaxing spa, and well-appointed, spacious, and comfortable rooms. The hotel is a short cab ride from the train station, and walking distance to center city, restaurants, a truly wonderful park, and the Saturday morning market. "

We were given a warm welcome, the lady showed us the room herself, the room was of very high quality (oak and brass doors and furnishings) and the meal in the restaurant was amazing - food and friendliness of staff! Breakfast was self-service and of very high quality - fresh-baked croissants, etc. The staff, again, were very polite and accommodating, and the final checkout was warm and courteous. Our room did overlook a level crossing, but the window shut out the sound perfectly. It was just a lovely hotel!"
