"Our party of 12 of all ages had a great break in this fantastic property. The layout worked superbly for 4 different families yet allowed us to come together for large meals together. The secure pool area was especially good for the grandkids. The property is close enough to the beach yet set in quiet countryside, so there is something for everyone. "A very characterful property. Conveniently close to la Roche sur Yon yet located in a peaceful, rural location. We loved the attention to detail made in the renovation of the property including the equisitely engineered ironwork handles and stair rail handmade by the owner. Outside there is a lovely terrace and a rambling kitchen garden to explore alongside a trickly stream. Perfect for a family plus grandparents or 2 families to share. We had a very comfortable stay. "We has a wonderful short stay at Lionel's house for a family Christmas get-together. It's a charming place on 3-levels. We really appreciated the very well-equipped kitchen, baby accessories, comfortable beds, the général ambiance and that our dog was welcomed as well! It's ideally located in the village...just a walk away from the castle and vieux centre...possiblity to park outside the house or otherwise a 2minute walk away.
