The tourist information was solely in French as well as all instructions for the use of appliances. We highly recommend an English version, especially for the appliances, for those who have little to no French. Unfortunately, we had an issue with the owner about charges for linen and towels. "Nous (famille de 4 personnes, avec 2 enfants de 1,5 et 4 ans) avons passé une bonne semaine. La neige n'etait pas au rendez vous, c'est la loterie. Le propriétaire nous a fait des propositions de visites dans les environs, nous avons pu visité cette région que nous ne connaissions pas.Chalet bien équipé pour un bebe (lit à barreau, table à langer, pot, transat, luge bebe...).Par contre maison avec des escaliers."

"We had a really great stay. There were 6 of us and 2 dogs, so loads of space. The views are amazing, as is the area. The dogs loved it with lots of great walks around. Pascale was very helpful and the house was extremely well equipped."

"This chalet has a lovely view of the lake and the wooded hills. A lovely view at breakfast and during the evening meal. The chalet was very well appointed with all necessary utensils. While I loved the lake, trips to Puy de Dome and Massif de Sancy were also within an hour's drive. All in all a lovely introduction to the Auvergne."

"We enjoyed our stay here -- it's a nice house with a great view, and we appreciated being able to use it as a base for exploring this part of the country. We had no concerns at all -- everything about the property was exactly as described. The remoteness is part of the appeal -- though it does mean that it's not easy to pop out to a shop for something you might have missed/forgotten. With good planning, it's a really appealing place."
