Be sure to check out live piano music there on the weekend. Beware that they don’t speak any English at this property, which I found surprising for a four star. "

"Location was perfect, where was center of Honfluer. Staff also were so kind and all conditions seemed to be perfect, although space of hotel itself was not big. I would like to stay here again."

"Overall it was fine. When I first saw it on the river I thought that would be cool. But it is behind the highway. Not so cool. Parking garage was a wee bit tight getting into and out of but it was nice having parking! We still walked everywhere. Nice town. This location would probably be nicer in the summer with activities on the warf"

"Staff were excellent, a conference had just finished as we arrived and it would have been been easy to have overlooked new arrivals but the staff were excellent and ensured we were looked after well. The restaurant on site was good and offered reasonable food, bar had great selection and room enabled a good nights sleep comfortable bed. "

The staff were all very professional and friendly and we enjoyed the live piano in the bar on Friday night. Room was traditional in format but modern in decor / fittings. "Everything was great about this place. Super clean, right in the beach, and close to downtown and the casino. There was just one really odd element- I tried to buy a bottle of wine at the bar downstairs to take up to my room, and this seemed to be a big hassle. The bartender had to call some one to find out how to ring it up and the tried to give me 4 glasses- I can’t imagine it’s a foreign concept for someone to want a bottle of wine in their room. "

"Although near the beach, the hotel is not on the beach, as it appears in the photos. Rooms are renovated but very simple, smelly toilet area and shower-head that sprayed on the ceiling. Not a bad stay, but definitely not a 4-star hotel, 3-star at best. Not worth the price, unfortunately. "
