"Staying in and among buildings in a village settled in 1067, clinging to a steep mountain wall, seemed to connect us deeply to the history and geography of South France. Tricky to find, even with the help of some good men in St Andre de Vizines, the effort was exponentially rewarded. Of our 1800+ kilometer drive to visit alps, a bridge, a cave, and a city of lights, our stay in St. Andre keeps emerging as a true highlight."

"Good location for visiting the western Cevennes, basic accomodation that was comfortable for two. It could get a bit noisy in late afternoon and early evening but the view was stunning. Parking occasionaly awkward and the steps up to the cottage could be difficult for some."

"Gîte très agréable, situé au coeur d'un village typique de l'Aveyron. Calme assuré, très beau village riche de son histoire et de ses monuments. Nous conseillons la visite du village et de la cité des Insectes Micropolis qui ravie les grands et les petits. Très bon contact avec les loueurs. Proximité de Millau de de son fabuleux Viaduc à 18 Kms ainsi que de nombreux sites touristiques aus alentours. Pour un futur séjour dans l'Aveyron, nous y reviendrons, c'est sur !!!"

"The Water Tower has great character. The upstairs living room is spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the circular walk above Tournemire - at 2 1/2 hours a good starter, the first of many further afield. There are plenty of maps and guides in the living room. It is a shame that there is no WiFi available, as nowadays this is a good way to retain contact with the outside world. "Nous avons adoré cette location ! Atypique et en plein coeur de la ville ! La personne qui nous a accueilli était très gentille et prévenante. Effectivement il n'y a qu'une seule fenêtre mais on le voit bien sur les photos de l'annonce, pas de surprise de ce côté là. Le seul côté "hic" c'est le côté humide du logement, mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment dérangé. L'avantage c'est qu'il y fait toujours frais même sous 35° ! Bref, nous on a adoré :)"
