"We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

"We had a fabulous stay. The house is in a wonderful area, very quiet and rural yet only 3-4km from the nearest villages/ small towns with lots of great restaurants etc. The house itself is wonderful - a true home from home. The garden is 'rustic' but great for lots of people and the dog. Note - it is not fully fenced in, although there are hedge boundaries and gates to the main road, so the dogs can (and ours did!) escape! "This is the most beautiful holiday rental we have ever had in France. The house was lovely and well-equipped and the gardens and terraces calming and peaceful. The pool was great and had the best view from the whole property with the vineyard rising up to the hills above. The only problem for us was that there was only French TV and as it was the end of September the evenings were too cold to stay outside."

Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! "The swimming pool was green with algea and very dirty. We could not use it . The kitchen was full of flies, which we spent a lot of money having to clean, buy fly spray, fly strip! The cleaning was very poor. Mattresses on beds stained. The house could be beautiful and is in a lovely setting. But is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in 3 years."
