"Great and new property condition"

"I had a good stay in this clean and comfortable hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfy and the finishes were new. There were a few minor items that could be improved though. The balcony door didn’t lock which wasn’t an issue for me but might be for others. The drapes only had black outs and not a set of sheers. Again - no problem for me but could impact someone else. As with most hotels I found a lack of hooks for hanging things up annoying, particularly in the bathroom. For example there was no place to hang a hand towel next to the sink. Other than those small issues the room and my stay were great. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there are a lot of amenities at the hotel. The breakfast was ok - nothing special but worth getting because there are no real options nearby. The hotel is 12 or 15 miles outside of Strasbourg but you can take a local train that will get you there in 20 minutes for 10 euros round trip. The train station is a ten minute walk from the hotel. All in all this hotel is good option if you need to stay in the Strasbourg area. "

"We had a fantastic stay at La Diligence Obernai, service and facilities were top notch. The location was lovely, we booked the balcony suite with its spectacular view and booked parking through the hotel which proved smart during the Christmas markets."

"Check-in was super fast, receptionist very nice and friendly with great English. The room was spacious enough and very tidy. Room safe a pleasure, free parking was a big plus for us. The area around the hotel and the whole town is quiet and safe. The better price, proximity to the train station and the 20 minute train ride to Strasbourg make staying here more economical and hassle free than staying in a big city."

"Very nice hotel in driving proximity to the old historical center. Supermarket, pharmacy, hair salons, restaurants, and walking/biking trails adjacent to hotel. Rooms were well lit, comfortable beds, renovated bathrooms, balcony area. Check-in and check-out simple. Good breakfast option. For improvement - Pool should be heated for travelers in the fall months. at time of visit pool sports accessories were dated and not looked after. Yurt-shaped sauna can also be renovated and made operational for every day use (not occasional based on client pre-booking). Large garden area could be trimmed more often to allow families with children to make better use of the space for play and roaming."

"The apartment is spacious, large even, with a large kitchen-dining area, a large master bedroom plus a second bedroom (bed comfortable), spacious bathroom/shower/toilet, comfortable lounge room with TV, excellent hot water, very well equipped and furnished, many power points. Claude and Brigitte are friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts, despite our weak French and German we communicated ok. The location is extraordinarily pretty; the drive up the valley into the Vosges from Selestat takes you through gorgeous scenery and pretty villages. House number 24-25 has ample parking; it is situated on the hillside. Surroundings are peaceful. Walks would be wonderful. Pity we had only two days; it would be ideal as a base for driving to vineyards and caves, as well as significant villages and towns."
