"The property was very comfortable and well equipped, a 15 minute walk to the centre of Tremolat across the bridge. The garden and field between the house and river are lovely -lots of birds and butterflies. The tables inside and in the garden were great for our party of 5 and would be fine for 6 to 8. "We were a party of 5 young at heart seniors who enjoyed every minute. The accommodation was of a high standard and a lot of thought went into the detail to make our stay 5*. The beds were very comfortable and the ensuites immaculate. The weather at the time was hot and we made use of the lovely pool and aircon. The location was perfect, isolated and quiet, yet only 6km from a delightful village Monpazier. I hope we have the pleasure of returning again. Thank you Sonja & Mark"

"This house is charming and is well located for enjoying the Perigord. Tremolat has two great restaurants (one world class) and and good neighbourhood bar/café. The house has everything you’d want but as others have noticed, a bit less in the cupboards would help visitors stow their own kitchen stuff. I would have added one more star if there were garden furniture stuff such as parasols to cover the sitting out areas."

"Très belle maison, avec de beaux volumes, parfait pour les amoureux de la campagne ! Nous étions 2 adultes, 5 enfants et 1 chien, 1 semaine en août. La maison conserve bien la fraicheur, et les différentes expositions au soleil permettent d'en profiter toute la journée. Le terrain est très grand, les enfants se sont régalés à observer les chevreuils, voir les poules, et construire des cabanes dans le bois. Jessy est un hôte très prévenant, à l'écoute et très arrangeant. La région est magnifique....

"We stayed for a week and hired both gites for our family. It was utterly perfect in every way - we wanted for nothing. We most enjoyed the privacy of the main pool which overlooks luscious countryside bustling with life and the stunning western sunsets in the cool sky. Sonia and Mark are consumate well experienced hosts who always try to accommodate any requests where possible. "For the price I paid I was VERY Happy with Résidence Lagrange Vacances Le Clos des Vignes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location right next to the park / beach . We ate out most of the time but everything appeared to be within the apartment for those who eat in. Furniture a bit jaded, but again for what I paid for it I can't complain. Would definitely return. "Fabulous week in the Dordogne based at this property - very rural and quiet but lots of lovely towns and Chateau’s and other things to see and do in the region so you will need a hire car to get around. The Gîte is superbly welcoming and comfortable - has everything you need for your stay. Craig and Caroline are fantastic hosts too, full of great advice beforehand when planning your stay and also on hand if needed while there. If I could 6 stars here I would! "
