"We booked this property as a girl holiday getaway for my 40th birthday celebrations. Overall we had a nice stay and found the location great to be able to visit some really stunning towns and villages nearby including Dome, Rocamadour and also had the opportunity to do cannoing in the Dordogne river as it’s such a great spot for it. In terms of the house itself, it had the main things we wanted but I wish the outside area by the pool would have had more greenery or at least a bit of grass....

"Fantastic views over the surrounding countryside and absolute peace and quiet. The property is exactly as the photos and description, with top quality appliances and spotlessly clean. A mix of modern and traditional French building. Very friendly and helpful owners, who live adjacent to the property but keep to themselves, although they only speak and email in French. "The Villa is even better than the photographs and written description in all major respects . We had a problem with the WiFi dropping out on the last Wednesday of our stay . The bill had not been paid . It was not fixed by the time of our departure . Poor service . Two cupboards in the kitchen at head level are an HS&E hazard . Sharp corners . "This was an excellent property that caters for all age groups. The property was large enough to cope with 8 adults and a baby. It was a 10 minute walk out of Sarlat so easy for early morning croissants or walking back from an evening meal. We had on incident which was quickly dealt with by the owner. "We had a lovely stay in Villa Vezac. The house is very well equipped, and in beautiful well maintained grounds. The hot tub is also a nice touch for the cooler evenings. You are surrounded by beautiful countryside and the local town, Sarlat de Caneda well worth visiting. Lucille, the house manager, was very welcoming and responsive, and spoke English - which helped!
