"We enjoyed our stay at Les Vieilles Digues very much. The owners are great. They are friendly and welcoming, the property is comfortable and clean, and the location is perfect. We walked to the shuttle on a beautiful morning and Mont St Michel was spectacular. I would definitely recommend visiting early in the day or late afternoon to avoid crowds. I would absolutely stay at Les Vieilles Digues again. Thank you for a wonderful experience. "

"I had a magical and memorable stay at this beautifully kept and historic Chateau. The Chateau is located around 20 minutes from Mont St. Michele and hours drive from dinan. The chateau itself is located on a peaceful country road on grounds inhabited by a lovely flock of geese who spend their days meandering the properties’ ponds. "We were the only guests at the chateau. The property is beautiful and the owner very hospitable and welcoming. There are 4 peacocks that roam the chateau grounds which are beautiful. In the morning the owner presented us with a gorgeous breakfast in his chateau dining room which was very elegant. All considered, we would love to stay at Chateau de Chantore again. 5 stars."

"My only regret is that we didn't plan a longer stay! This Chateau and the grounds are stunning. The resident manager, Pascale, was delightful, helpful and it was so pleasant to chat with her during our stay. She recommended a lovely restaurant in a nearby town and arranged reservations for us on a busy Friday night. Made to order breakfast, extensive honor bar with drinks and snacks, beautiful suite and common areas and very reasonable pricing; you can't go wrong with Chateau La Remetiere!"

"Our hosts made us feel welcomed from the first minute when they awaited our early arrival at the front door. The room, the gardens and the house are beautiful and very comfortable. They provided us with an enormous breakfast that because of our travel issues we were too nervous to enjoy. But n any other day it would have been wonderful. Great place, great location, great hosts.
