"Zeer rustig middenin de wijnranken gelegen en toch vlakbij de hoofdweg tussen Bordeaux en Bergerac. Mooi en zeer degelijk ingerichte gite (zeer goed geslapen) met alle voorzieningen behalve een tv ( voor wie het nodig zou hebben ). Super vriendelijke eigenaars met zeer vlotte communicatie. "The former wine cellar stay was very much like we wanted. Some rustiness but plenty modern with all the conviences. we cooked often and enjoyed eating on the patio. It is secluded and quiet - a good 20 minutes from the city, but we enjoyed it. Jean Micheal was great with instructions and communications even though he was on holiday in Italy. Would book again for sure."

"We chose this unit for its convenience to the Saint-Emilion and East Bordeaux Wine areas. We were not disappointed. While it really is amongst the vineyards, it made for interesting trips to the neighboring small villages."

"We spent 12 nights at this property, which coincided with some of the hottest weather they have had, so we were exceedingly thankful for the pool!. The veranda meant we could escape some of the heat but still enjoy the views across the vines. Simple accommodation offering what you need for a relaxing stay."

"Lovely rural Gite, perfect for time away from the crowds. Kind and helpful owners, great facilities with a lovely garden to enjoy time outdoors. Great swimming pool too. Train station15 minutes away - perfect for our day trip to Bordeaux. Lovely area, St Emilion is a must see and nearby village in Ruch has a good value restaurant with a very welcoming owner (about 25/30 minutes walk and a must for a leisurely lunch and a stroll). Car is a must to make the most of time available at the gite....

"Perfectly located in an ideal setting, this typically French Gite had all we needed for our stay. During the heatwave the inside of the property was cool and inviting. The hosts were very friendly, we only wished that we spoke more French. The gifts of produce from their gardens was gratefully accepted and delicious, thankyou."

They were on site the whole time we were there, so we shared the pool with them and the people renting their smaller apartment (although we were never actually in the pool at the same time). "This very clean and comfortable cottage is in the country a short drive from Sainte Emilion. Quiet, pastoral setting. It was out base for drives in the area and for a relaxing time at the end of the day. We opted for the breakfast which was very reasonable and delish - yougurt, fruit, pastries, juice and coffee. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. The furnishings were modern and comfortable. Everything we needed for a very enjoyable stay."
