"We did not go even though we had paid for the holiday in full. Host did not provide any arrival instructions or how to enter the property. We chased him for these and he ignored our message. We were booked to travel on the overnight ferry to St Malo as a family group. Decided that we could not take the chance of doing this only to find we could not enter the premises. Despite a request for an explanation, the host has refused to give one. More than 4000 euros out of pocket and the host has not...

"Die Highlights sind der Pool, der Wintergarten und die sehr freundlichen Vermieter-vielen Dank an Regis! 10 Minuten bis zum schönen Strand. 5 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad zum Bäcker und kleinen Supermarkt. Ruhig und viel Platz für alle. Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist ein Sammelsurium, dadurch gibt es aber wirklich alles, was man brauchen könnte. Klare Empfehlung!"

"We spent a happy ten days at Paule’s house in St Malo. Excellent location for the beach and local shops. Comfy beds and great amenities in the kitchen. Please note there is no bath - but two large showers. The garden is a fantastic space for kids. The driveway is very narrow but it’s easy to park on the street. Paula is friendly and helpful as a host. "

"We enjoyed a lovely week at Virginie and Sylvain's house in St Lunaire. The swimming pool was a real bonus in the hot weather! The house is beautifully presented and is very well-equipped. There are lots of things to do in the surrounding area and plenty of amenities nearby. Virginie and Sylvain are excellent hosts. We would recommend both the house and its owners to future holidaymakers. Rob and Claire, London"

"My wife and I stayed in this wonderful property for three weeks in September-October with our toddler son and our parents. It had everything we could ask for - perfect location, accommodations for kids, lovely garden, hot tub, AGA stove, the list goes on! The host was very responsive and accommodating. "What a lovely little property - it had all we needed for our stay in St Malo. Ideally situated for 20 minute walk to the old town, the kitchen was very well equipped, the sofa bed was comfortable to sit on downstairs. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs were perfectly adequate and the bed was comfortable. It was a nice surprise to be provided with bedding, towels and soap. The only downside for us - as we are both over 60 was the steep staircase (which was clearly pictured) - but we did get used...
