Pleasant accommodation of 36 m2 (furnished with tourism classified 3 ***) overlooking a private terrace, in a beautiful Basque house named Etchenikia-Ttikia. 3 star ratings (furnished with tourism) and 2 ears of corn (Gîte de France label), which we hope will be a guarantee of quality.

Functional apartment on the ground floor consisting of an equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, washing machine, fridge-freezer, kettle, toaster, nespresso machine, etc.), a sitting area with TV and sofa convertible 2 places, a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom.

You will be enchanted by its splendid shared enclosed garden and its sun loungers facing south, its boules court. Relaxing atmosphere and conviviality. Chilling Out in the Pays Basque !
Situated in a lovely village / small town only a few miles from coastal towns and beaches but also convenient for easy access into the Pyrenees and across the border into Spain. Dog friendly and quiet location set back from the main road. Plenty of local walks to suit all abilities. Also good local amenities such as shops restaurants and a supermarket The owner ( Cedric ) was extremely friendly welcoming and helpful with suggestions on places to visit and best nearby beaches. We thoroughly enjoyed our conversations with him about the local language culture and history. Our first visit to the Pays Basque but definitely not our last. We arrived by car from U.K. which meant we could explore the region easily during our 14 days stay. Biarritz St Jean de Luz and Hendaye just a short drive. All lovely but we particularly enjoyed Biarritz The accommodation fully suited our requirements and met our expectations. We have no hesitation in recommending this property.
