"Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local village. "A lovely place to stay. Very handy 30 minute safe and pleasant walk into Bayeux. A lovely town with history all around you. A must is to go and see the Bayeux tapestry. Nellie and Christophe are lovely people and so helpful, they can’t do enough for you. My wife and I would most definectly advise to stay here, also a big plus your car here and private parking is very good."

"Quiet area. Easy access to St Lô. Old building. Polystyrene ceiling tiles in bedroom.Fire hazard? Very comfy bed. Very steep, dangerous stairs to room. Owner very nice but did ask for payment again even though we pre-paid. Basic continental breakfast but only 3 euros each.Overall, for a one night stopover after a 9 hour drive,it did the job."

"We needed 3 beds and 3 baths which this property provided. However, you MUST be able to navigate many stairs. A flight to get to the door, and 3 additional flights with a bedroom/bath on each floor and one floor being the kitchen/living space. The stairs are beautiful, period (15th) century stone - narrow and winding. We enjoyed the free exercise, but would be difficult if you couldn’t manage the stairs, especially with luggage. Location is perfection and accommodations were very clean. "
