"Situated on the outskirts of the lovely village of Coggeshall next to the church this historic Inn was a wonderful, peaceful get away. The bedroom had been refurbished to a high standard whilst retaining it's historic charm. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. "

"Birds farm is a lovely place to stay for the local Essex or Sussex area. Very quiet in the evenings, despite being just off a busy road. Great facilities, good comfy beds, very warm heating and well supplied cooking facilities. A pool for summer, grounds and a Summer house and a well stocked games room for kids if the weather is bad. Nice hotel, good stay

"I had an overnight stay while I was in the area for business. The hotel is very nice. My room was a good size for one, and had everything I needed. The furniture is a little dated and shabby compared to the public areas of the hotel, but nothing to complain about. The pool is a good size. The gym is quite small and I imagine quite uncomfortable if too many people were using it at the same time. I did not have breakfast, but dinner in the bar was very nice."
