"This is a very basic apartment and has a very odd damp/mouldy/unaired smell on entering & a little dusty but it was fine & had everything you could need for a short break including an iron & board, hairdryer and kitchen equipment including a coffee maker, toaster & microwave. It was quite small but was enough for 2 adults & a teen. Parking was included & the car was outside the apartment so easy access & secure. "My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Château de Moulin le Comte. Lovely to see a young couple living their dream of owning a Château. Very much like the UK television series Escape to the Château. "For £200 a night we expected everything to work. For example, there was a beautiful marble setting but the heating was not on and there was no clear way of controlling the temperature in the room which was in a cold downstairs location. Nice hotel with an outstanding restsurant.

"Booked this as a stopover on the way back to UK from Italy and boy did we fall lucky. We stayed in a lodge in the grounds and it was comfortable, clean and larger than we expected. However the highlight of our trip was the main building where there is a lovely bar with great staff and the outstanding restaurant. The 3 course meal with excellent wine was a great way to finish our trip around Europe before heading to the ferry. Be sure to book because the restaurant is also popular with the locals. "
