"This was a beautiful old house with wonderful staff. Check-in was easy and very personal and they made space for us in the restaurant for dinner...which was already completely booked. Great rooms. We had to leave before breakfast was served but im sure it would have been excellent! If we ever get back to St-Mère-Église I will look forward to staying here again! Merveilleuse!"

"The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. A particularly nice touch was a selection of chocolates in the bedroom. Would certainly recommend...

"Wonderful! A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a magnificent Chateau taken from the fairy tales. The owners are very nice, the place is clean and decorated with grace, with attention to every little detail and great ancient artifacts and restoration work done. The grounds are beautiful. This stately manor house has a “Masterpiece Theater “ feel inside and out, and Karine is a terrific host in this beautiful fin de siecle home with 21st century-appointed Room decor. Marine provides an amazing breakfast for a small up-charge, and well worth it. Sh is an equestrian and the Villa is on horse property in rural Tamerville near Valognes.
