"We stayed at the larger gite which was charming and nicely decorated. Marie and Christian were great and helpful with suggestions re activities and restaurants. The gite is on a country road but traffic is light and we did not have an issue with noise. We will happily return again in the future."

"A fabulous, quirky house spread over many levels with all the mod cons ensured a very relaxing and comfortable stay. Tennis court and swimming pool meant the teenagers were entertained and happy, whilst being in the heart of the Ardeche for river swimming and canoeing! We loved our stay and meeting our lovely, friendly and helpful host."

"The property was damp and not clean to sleep in with the children’s bed being covered in dust when weight was put onto it. Furniture in the bedroom was green with mold spores. We only stayed a night as we arrived late even though we had booked for four as the smell of damp was cloying and overwhelming and the accommodation frankly unihabitable. Er werd voorzien in beddengoed en zelfs (bad)handdoeken, je kan er ook dagelijks je was draaien en drogen in de wasruimte, deze is open vanaf de vroege ochtend tot later in de avond. Er is airco in de keuken en woonkamer aanwezig alsook in de slaapkamer beneden en 1 slaapkamer boven. de 3e slaapkamer heeft geen airco, daar bevindt...

"The swimming pool was green with algea and very dirty. We could not use it . The kitchen was full of flies, which we spent a lot of money having to clean, buy fly spray, fly strip! The cleaning was very poor. Mattresses on beds stained. The house could be beautiful and is in a lovely setting. But is in a state of disrepair. Very disappointing as this was our first family holiday in 3 years."

"We had a fabulous stay. The house is in a wonderful area, very quiet and rural yet only 3-4km from the nearest villages/ small towns with lots of great restaurants etc. The house itself is wonderful - a true home from home. The garden is 'rustic' but great for lots of people and the dog. Note - it is not fully fenced in, although there are hedge boundaries and gates to the main road, so the dogs can (and ours did!) escape! "Family of 3 generations from 9yrs to 77yrs, 14 in total. We all agreed that it was the best house we had stayed in with loads of character and flexible accommodation. We made full use of all the amenities with many hours in the lovely pool, table tennis etc and enjoying meals in the shade on the terrace in the evening. "House was terrible to find. Map the host sent us was unreadable. If we had typed in 'caravan lagorce' in our GPS we shoupdn't have had any problem. But that was our only bad remark: everything else was great."
