"While we were a little nervous about the somewhat shabby area around this small, quiet hotel, we were quite happy to enter and find an immaculately clean, modernized facility. The parking area, while not a garage, fell safe and secure. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, the common areas fresh and modern and the room so clean and sparkling! Absolutely the only reason I had to take off a star was because the mattress really could use replacing. It felt old and I could feel the springs....

Lets be positive...the staff were all very friendly and attentive and the manager (whose name I missed but has a nice dog) was very good in dealing with my complaint and said that she had only recently joined and recognised there was a lot to do. "We were so happy with our stay here. We had an extended family visit to see puy du foy. The accommodation was very large and perfect for our big group, the grounds were beautiful and the children loved the outside space. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The host was beyond helpful and was very kind after my daughter twisted her ankle in the garden (entirely her own fault as she fell over a football the children had been playing with)."

"The room was full of little flies hanging around the lights, a few of them already dead. When we pulled down the window curtain, we had the unpleasant surprise of discovering a cemetery of squished flies stuck onto it - see pictures. The bathroom also did not smell very good. Definitely not recommended. "We chose this property for the reasonable price and proximity to Puy du Fou and it served us well. It is well equipped for cooking (we made 2 dinners) and there a is great selection of food nearby at the Super U. It is especially quiet at night which we appreciated. Somehow I neglected to include our grandson when making the reservation but Jocelyn was most gracious and accommodating of my mistake.
