Lovely & charming Villa - Saint Martin de Ré.

This is a lovely & charming house from the end of the 18th century, with thick stone walls, high roofs and antique wooden floors. On the top,the property has a nice and comfortable outside patio, rare in Saint Martin downtown.
We especially paid attention to get importance to space and comfort ( 90 m2, for a 2 bed rooms property).

We realized a complete refurbishing in 2010.
All technical parts are new (kitchen, bathroom, paints, electricity, heating, beds, domestic appliances,...) and the rest is designed accordingly to the charming Ile de Ré style, mixing comfortable and antique furnitures.
The house is located inside the city walls in the historic part. Outside the noisy area, it’s still close to the harbor and the market.

Super semaine à Saint Martin
Maison pleine de charme au centre de Saint Martin. Emplacement parfait proche de tout mais au calme. La maison est très confortable, tout est prévu pour ne manquer de rien. Mention spéciale pour le patio idéal pour prendre les repas et lézarder au soleil. J’espère que nous reviendrons !

Couldn't have been in a better spot, an easy walk down the hill to the harbour for restaurants and ice cream. Facilities as described, it's a nice small villa but it's the location that makes it perfect.

Chaleureuse maison au cœur de Saint Martin de Ré Échanges rapides et cordiaux avec Juliette la propriétaire. La maison est en tout point conforme aux photos et à la description. L’accueil par Laurie ( et en amont la mise en contact) a été super. Très proche du port et des commerces, nous avons pu profiter de notre séjour pleinement L’île de Ré est bien sûr superbe, entre marais et mer. De nombreuses plages plus ou moins sauvages A recommander Mention spéciale aux mouettes ( elles se reconnaîtront!)

best place to relax
We spent a very nice time in this house. The location is extremely good and the environment is very pleasant. From shopping to a short shopping spree, everything is sorted within walking distance. There are also countless restaurants and cafes. We also think St Martin is the best place on the island. The house offers everything you need to spend a relaxing but not boring time.

Très agréable maison
Excellent séjour malgré la pluie. La maison est agréable et au calme malgré le fait qu'elle soit située au centre.Très joliment décorée avec goût ce qui fait que l'on s'y sent bien. Terrasse très jolie mais nous n'avons pas pu en profiter à cause de la météo. Le seul bémol :les chaises inconfortables, un petit coussin serait agréable...Ce fut parfait !

Maison très agréable et confortable, d’une grande propreté. Emplacement idéal dans Saint Martin. Seul tout petit bémol: l’absence d’une épicerie de base (ni huile ni sel), mais sinon tout pour faire la cuisine (bonne batterie de poêles et casseroles, bons couteaux, plats, machine Nespresso). Nous reviendrons certainement!

Wir verbrachten zu fünft (2 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder/Jugendliche) unsere Sommerferien vom 27.08. - 10.09.2022 im wunderschönen, sehr liebevoll renovierten und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Haus von Juliette und Hugues. Vom ersten Tag an haben wir uns wohlgefühlt und nichts an Einrichtungsgegenständen vermisst. Die Lage in Saint-Martin ist perfekt: mitten im Zentrum, aber dennoch ruhig gelegen und nur 3 min zu Fuß zum Hafen mit Cafés, Restaurants, Marché, Boulangerie, Fahrradverleih usw. Unser Auto haben wir kostenlos außerhalb der Stadtmauer abgestellt (beim Friedhof, ca. 7 min zu Fuß) und nur für gelegentliche Großeinkäufe oder Ausflüge zu weiter entfernten Zielen (Plage du Lizay) benötigt. Auch der Kontakt mit Juliette und Hugues sowie vor Ort mit Marine von der Agentur Orbi war problemlos und angenehm. Bei Fragen waren sie immer erreichbar. Alles in allem ein perfektes Ferienhaus für einen Urlaub auf der Île-de-Ré! Merci pour tout!

C'est bon!
Excellent property in a fantastic location. Very central yet quiet. Highly recommended! Do cycle along the coastal paths too, beautiful scenery.

charmante demeure au coeur de saint-Martin
Cette maison charmante et typique de l'Ile de Ré est idéalement placée à quelques minutes à pied du port de Saint-Martin dans une ruelle au calme. On profite donc de l'animation du port à toute heure et du calme de la maison. La terrasse est un plus. Cette maison typique offre un confort moderne. C'est notre deuxième séjour et nous ne manquerons pas d'y retourner

Une jolie maison avec une décoration agréable tout prêt des commerces du marché couvert et du port. C'était parfait. Un petit souci technique nous a obligé à contacter la propriétaire et nous avons apprécié sa réactivité le dimanche et en pleine semaine de Noël donc un point de plus...

A quiet and nice place in the historic centre of S. Martin
This is a nice, well-kept old house, quiet but near the harbour, restaurants and, for us importantly, the food market. It has a lovely courtyard if you want to have your meals outside. Everything was fine and as promised from booking to departure. By far the nicest place we have stayed in St Martin.

We very much enjoyed our second stay at the house. It is well equipped and has a lovely traditional elegance. We particularly like the seating area outside. It is in a very convenient position close to the shops and harbour but still nice and quiet. We look forward to visiting again.
