"Lovely setting with large, rambling gardens over many levels. Great swimming pool with lots of sun loungers. The kitchen was very well equipped. The only negative is that house is split over many levels, with lots of staircases and we didn’t get this impression from the website."

"Un séjour court mais vraiment excellent ! Tout était propre, nickel, et parfaitement entretenu. Benjamin a été extrêmement à l'écoute et disponible tout au long du séjour. Malgré la courte durée, j'ai pu apprécier le cadre naturel et les paysages magnifiques des Cévennes. Je reviendrai sans hésiter pour en profiter pleinement pour une durée bien plus longue. "We had a lovely stay at this nice house in de the mountains. The house is modern with even USB Sockets to charge your phone. If I had to name one flaw of the house it would be that the dishwasher takes like for ever to wash the dishes. The layout of the house is very pleasant. It has two rooms one down and one upstairs both with their own shower and toilet. "Vacances très agréables en dehors du gite. Pas assez de précisions sur l annonce concernant l accès au gîte qui est très dangereux à cause des escaliers. Gîte fait seulement pour les personnes très en forme."

"La maison est jolie, surtout la terrasse dont nous avons bien profité. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et accueillants, la communication était facile. La piscine était un peu froide et un peu profonde avec de jeunes enfants mais nous en avons profité tout de même. Une erreur dans l'annonce : il était écrit que la deuxième chambre disposait de plusieurs lits, mais il n'y avait qu'un lit double. Nos filles n'ayant pas l'habitude de dormir ensemble ça a été un peu compliqué mais pas insurmontable !"

"Lovely location, nicely kept house with both pool and pool table. Good communication with Amanda even though she was unable to Be around for our stay. Pool was smaller than expected and there were some issues with the filtration which were sorted after a call. Only issue we had was parking 4 cars in the garage which was very difficult from the main road. Otherwise we had a good time."

"The gite is well equipped and is good sized for a couple. The two stand-outs for me were: The picture south-facing window, so had wonderful light and an incredible view that changed through the day: The downstairs bedroom which stayed cool even with 30c days. It's great location to explore the Cevennes and further south into the Herault. The area is astonishing and should be better known. The roads are almost deserted and no destination I went to felt crowded. I went wild swimming in deserted...

"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

A wonderful holiday

"The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Merci Fabien."

"This old stone house is built up against a cliff in the Tarn River Gorge, a place of exceptional beauty. We stayed in early spring and enjoyed the fresh greenery, bird songs and the occasional fox sighting. It's very secluded yet convenient to town and exploring the area. The house has a well equipped kitchen, good lighting, a comfy sofa for evenings and a very good bed. The porch offers a fine view of the river and canyon and is great for eating out. Clare and Alex have worked hard to make this a five-star experience, and we appreciate their hospitality."
