"Query the room for disabled visitors with walk in shower. had to go in the lift walk the length of the hotel and down in lift to access room 301. Very happy with reception who were very willing to change our original room to one with the walk-in shower.. my only query is why you had to go up along and down to access this room. Otherwise, everything perfect, thank you.."

"One night stop on the way to Scotland. Not as quiet as previous visit. Last time we were at the back so didn’t hear any noise, particularly from showers and toilet flushing. Nevertheless a great location and a great price."

"We had a good stay before catching Le Shuttle. It’s very much budget end, but fine for a one night stay. Everything worked, although the plastic toilet flush operating button was cracked and ready to disintegrate. The shower was fine and had a good amount of hot water pressure. The bed was rather hard for my liking, but that seems quite common in France. The sheets and towels were clean and in good condition. "Great value! Our only complaint was that our room was too warm and we couldn’t work out how to lower the temperature. However, given it was freezing outside it was much better to be too warm!! The restaurant was also good value and the food was excellent."

"Second time staying at Tresors d'Opale and not the last! It's a lovely property, clean and very comfortable with quality kitchen and beds. The delicious bakery is 2 mins walk away and the beautiful beach about 5/10 mins walk either through town or the dunes. We love Le Touquet but find this place relaxing and much quieter...and cheaper! This time, we didn't like the fact we were in an inter-connecting room, we could hear every noise and conversation from next door, so make sure you don't get one...

A comfortable stay and a fantastic dinner

" Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Calais was smooth, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant—but what really stood out was the dinner. We hadn’t planned on eating at the hotel, but we’re so glad we did. The meal was surprisingly delicious—thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and far better than what you might expect from a hotel restaurant. Even more memorable than the food was the kindness of the staff. They were warm, attentive, and especially welcoming to our children, treating them with genuine care and friendliness that made the evening feel even more special. Our room was clean, quiet, and well-equipped, with a lovely view of the port and a bed that made for a great night’s sleep. The hotel’s location made it easy to explore Calais on foot, and we appreciated how relaxing everything felt after a day of travel. While it may not be a luxury destination, the Holiday Inn in Calais delivers exactly what a traveler needs—comfort, kindness, and a few unexpected delights. We would absolutely stay here again."
