We felt warmly welcomed and cared for from the moment of arrival to our departure. "We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay in this lovely gîte. Sandra and Alun gave us a very warm welcome and were very helpful on where to visit and recommendations on where to eat. The accommodation is very comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by and using the pool. We particularly enjoyed exploring Brantôme, Périgueux, Bourdeilles, the caves at Villars and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this gîte and would stay here again. "The photos do not do this property justice. Its a lovely large secluded house in the middle of sunflower fields. The owners live next door and were on hand for anything we might need, but we didn't see or hear them unless we needed to. They were the perfect hosts. It was a great location for our extended family getaway. The pool was perfect and provided good shade for the children. There is a sandpit and a wooden lookout that are not pictured, but were a lovely surprise. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended. "
