This is listed as an English speaking host which is not accurate. We struggled to communicate. The place is advertised with a pool but this was out of bounds due to the drought, we understand this but we should have known before arrival. We had no hot water at all during our stay and we could not contact the host despite messaging and ringing the door...

"Lovely stay. Eloi is a superb host, for whom nothing seemed too much trouble. The property is in a superb location, with fabulous views over the mountain to the border with Spain. "We are a group of 8 and just had the most fantastic 2 weeks in this house. Views are spectacular, the house is well equipped and very spacious and the pool was a good size and a nice temperature. "What a brilliant place for our multi-generational group of friends and family. The setting is beautiful - very peaceful, with fabulous views of the surrounding woods and mountains. The property worked really well for us, with something for everyone - particular favourites included the pool, board games, books, TV, table-tennis, and the space to relax on your own if you wanted peace and quiet. Another bonus for us was being able to walk/hike/run direct from the property. A great week, thank you!"
