"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"Die Wohnung war funktional und sehr ruhig. Der swimmingpool ist das Highlight - gepflegt und grosszügig. Der Vermieter hat uns jeden Tag Brot besorgt- herrlich! Sehr nette Vermieter! Eine Klimaanlage wäre hilfreich gewesen! "

"We zijn gebleven voor 1 nacht en daarbleef het bij algehele indruk slecht niet schoongemaakt veel spinnen webben en als we er vragen over hebben dan. Krijgen we als antwoordt dat dit bij frankrijk hoort.zwembad op de foto is niet daar aanwezig maar vijf minuten lopen en sterk vervuild. Veel zaken in de gite zijn kapot bij binnenkomst wordt er nog snel een lamp grplakt met contact lijm. Bij het verlaten van wc breekt de klink van de deur. Niet sporen van vorige huurders nog zichtbaar in de keuken...

"An ideal location for exploring the Ardeche region. The property is in a magnificent location, quiet and in spacious surroundings with great views of the countryside and has everything you could need for a relaxing break if this is what you require. "As there are no English reviews, here's the first! We stayed here in late September and the weather was fortunately good. The house is equipped for a holiday stay (no bath towels but hand & tea towels + bath mats provided - don't know if this is a French thing). Both showers are large and powerful. There was always plenty of hot water . TV is French terrestrial but there is fast internet so we watched Netflix and Sky with no difficulty by streaming through laptop to the TV.
