"This really is rural. It is in the middle of a forest down an unmade road 2 km to nearest village. It is a beautiful location. Host are generous and welcoming. We heard so many birds including owls and saw bats, and deer locally whilst visiting. The pool was a treat in the hot weather ( unheated for the strong hearted!) Situated in a lovely garden. "We stayed at Valerie’s beautiful Gite for a week in August, 7 of us in total, 4 adults, 2 young children and one toddler. The Gite is beautiful with a modern interior and a fresh airy feel - lovely garden and the perfect sized swimming pool for the children to stay safe. Lestiou is a quiet rural village with a nice snack bar just down the road and a car is essential for a stay here. Although the Nuclear power station is visible this didn’t impact our enjoyment.
