"A very nice place to stay. Very private with no traffic noise. The property was to a very high standard and well equipped. Parking was very secure and easy. The swimming pool was wonderful, clean and a good temperature. It is set in a beautifully landscaped garden. Very nice hosts and a most enjoyable stay."

The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. "The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

"The cottage has 2 bedrooms and large lounge, diner with a cosy wood burnt fireplace, 2 shower rooms. The owners live above but the walls are thick so there’s no noise to disturb each other. The cottage is well equipped in the kitchen, bathroom towels and bedding. It has almost everything you might need. There’s a small heated indoor pool which was very useful for little kids. "Le gîte est très beau, très conforme aux photos. Très proche d'Ales, mais déjà dans la campagne. Très grande terrasse donnant sur la piscine et le jardin. La route qui borde le jardin est très peu passante donc on est vraiment au calme. Idéal pour des vacances en famille. Grande piscine idéale par fortes chaleurs. La climatisation du salon est suffisante pour l'ensemble, si nécessaire, les chambres ont des ventilateurs (que nous n'avons pas eu besoin d'utiliser). Les propriétaires habitent...
