"Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. "It was a lovely stay. Room was spacious and allowed a space for our kids separate from our own. Host and hostess were great and the breakfast was locally sourced and amazing. Kids enjoyed tossing chew toys in the yard for the dogs to chase. I’m allergic to animals and had no issues in the room as they don’t seem to be allowed inside. "Stunningly quaint and relaxing! Felt like I was at my mom's farm house. This is the best VRBO experience I've ever had. Ségolène and Luis are amazing, attentive and friendly hosts. They have restored everyrhing themsleves - balancing the history of a place built in the late 1790s without making the property too modern or old feeling. Jumbo the dog is a bonis! Really, this place is just special.and friendly hosts."

"A lovely place to stay. Very handy 30 minute safe and pleasant walk into Bayeux. A lovely town with history all around you. A must is to go and see the Bayeux tapestry. Nellie and Christophe are lovely people and so helpful, they can’t do enough for you. My wife and I would most definectly advise to stay here, also a big plus your car here and private parking is very good."

"I very much enjoyed my stay. The renters were incredibly kind and nice and very helpful. They provided me with a nice little gift basket of goodies as well when I arrived. We had a little trouble with the language barrier, but were able to effectively communicate. Luckily they spoke some English because I did not speak any French. Very kind and nice people. It was a very convenient location for accessing the beaches. I enjoyed my stay very much."
