"Lovely traditional property with modern amenities with a good size pool. Very peaceful rural location. Excellent communication from the owners of the property and Mr and Mrs Keys, the property managers, were extremely helpful and accommodating. You will need a car to access supermarkets/sight seeing etc. but there are lots of beautiful areas to see. Cognac is beautiful and reasonably close. "The property internally was very good but needs some finishing off. Property full of flies. VRBO advertised property inclusive of use of pool and hot tub. Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. Pool was cleaned on arrival, Wi-Fi was repaired following day. Grass was not cut. The owners dog used the long grass at the end of the pool to do it’s business. We will not return to this...

"We loved our stay here - house is spacious and we all had a bedroom - a family with 3 generations staying. The garden is lovely, great to play, sit, enjoy. The pool is lovely, though too cold for me to get in, but the kids did and enjoyed it. That would be my only criticism - a heated pool would be nice! Close to a supermarket - only 5 mins in the car, Surgeres,close by, is a lovely little town to explore and also has a train station to get to La Rochelle, Paris, etc! Highly recommended."
