After rental confirmation, the homeowners will reach out to you for parking payment which is collected separately
- NOTE: A 4-person electric golf cart is included in the rental. This gives easy access to eight areas of the beach, including one accessible to wheelchairs and mobility scooters. A waiver will be required prior to using the golf cart. Guests must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance to operate the golf cart
- NOTE: The community pools are unheated and are available for guest use during March-October only

Serene and clean
We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and met our expectations. The hosts were professional and easy to communicate with. The efforts to account two dogs were great.

Beautiful, nature filled stay
We loved the location. Right over the marsh and short walk to secluded part of the beach. Bonus to have the golf cart and free pass to the State Park on Hunting Island. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty of beach chairs / towels. Could easily spend a week here.

The perfect retreat

Family Vacation
We had a great stay at the Nautical cottage! Loved that they had so much we needed and could use - a high chair, pack n play, beach chairs, etc. the golf cart was fun for us to use as well. this was our first time to Harbor Island but won’t be last! This house is very convenient to the beach and pools too!

This gated community is wonderful! We loved how peaceful and quiet the community was, even has a dog park! Our favorite part and mainly why I booked this cottage was the view! Love the marsh view and you can even see the ocean! The walk to the beautiful clean beach was so short. We would love to come back.

Fantastic property in a beautiful setting!
We had such a fantastic long weekend at this property! It was so comfortable and relaxing, really nice decor, great common spaces and super comfortable bedding for a great night sleep. The view from the deck was gorgeous and it felt really private. Really fun to have access to the golf cart and the little touches like shampoo in the bathroom were appreciated. The kitchen was really well stocked. It was a great stay and I can’t wait to come back!

Exceeded expectations
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this place! It had everything we needed and more to either relax at the cottage or venture out to the beach or pool. The view and sounds from the back deck were so relaxing and watching the different birds in the marsh was fun. The place was clean and as described in the listing. The included pass to the Hunting Island State Park was a great bonus and put to great use, what an awesome state park right next door!

Beautiful Marsh View
The view from the back deck is breathtaking. We had a couple issues but the owner is wonderful to work with. The refrigerator is super fancy but we prefer one that produces more ice. We bought ice trays and left them there. This house has a ton of storage space which is great. They have blankets to cover the furniture and bed but I don’t think people use them like they should. It is nice to have the golf cart for taking rides and going to the beach. Please pick up after your dog if you bring them because it make those of us that do look bad.

Awesome getaway at the Hypnautical Cottage
We had a great time. The cottage has many amenities - golf cart (The Mule), items for the beach, and amenities inside. We did have to charge The Mule in order to use it, but once that was complete she rode like a charm. The owners were awesome to work with about the cart. My Mother-in-law has dementia (latter stages), and this is probably the last vacation time to spend with her on the beach. We are thankful to have been able to share this time with her in a place that is so accommodating... Thank you Teresa and Kevin for such a cozy cottage. And the home theater sound was THE BOMB!!!!! Don

Pros: comfortable bed Nice kitchen ( very well equipped) Large dining area Hot shower water Plenty of parking space Nice golf cart to use Neighborhood is quite and secure Lovely property outside Cons: The house looked like it had not been cleaned. If it had it was a bad job of it. There was dust on everything There was dust and pet hair ball the size of baseballs under some of the furniture and easy to spot The front door had spiderwebs and dead insects all around i The furniture was nice but dated Some written instructions on how to adjust the thermostat would have been help. We are senior citizens and not up on the latest electronics. We did find out by trial and error. Over two days. All in all we would stay there again in the future.

Beach House Getaway
My brother and I grew up vacationing on Hunting Island when we were kids. After 15+ years we wanted to go back for a little nostalgia, fishing, and food. The house was clean, spacious, and accommodating. Being provided with the use of a Gator-like cart for zipping around the property and to the beach as well as the Unlimited State Park pass were greatly appreciated. The sleeping arrangements were comfy with plenty of pillows and extra blankets. The living room had an excellent TV and nice couch to unwind on after day spent at the beach or on the pier. The deck had fantastic sunrise views and the grill was a nice touch for the fresh shrimp we had purchased just down the road. No real knocks against the house except the dining room chairs, while funky, are not the most comfortable after sitting for a bit. All in all, we loved it down here visiting Saint Helena Island, Beaufort, Hunting Island and would definitely come back and stay again.

Great cottage, disappointing beach
The cottage itself was great - cute decor, clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds. Owners/managers quick to respond and easy to work with. All the extras - bottle of wine in the fridge, beach supplies, golf cart, state park pass - much appreciated. The beach, however, was disappointing. We expected the extreme tides and lack of surf, but that was no problem. What was the problem was the TONS of jellyfish. (Not any better jellyfish-wise at the State Park beach.) It made just walking on the beach unpleasant, let alone putting your toes in the surf. Our young adult daughter also had an encounter with two alligators on the beach, one of which was hissing aggressively. We expected gators in the marsh and saw several, but not so much on the beach itself.That said, we opted to spend our lounging time at the pool - which was big, clean and well landscaped with lots of chairs - so it turned out ok in the end. The low country is always full of surprises and overall we loved the cottage and had a great vacation.

Our first time staying here was magical - this time was disappointing. Wasn't as clean as we remembered & AC remained at 76-78 until dark. It was fine for what we were using it for (quick getaway, beach is close, pool down the street) but would probably not come back.

Perfect Getaway
The house was perfect and we loved the layout! The views of the marsh were stunning, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck daily. Having the golf cart was a plus, as we used it to haul our gear to the beach. Loved that it was pet friendly!

Relaxing space
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had everything we needed to relax, and it was big enough for the family. Beach access was close, and other amenities were available to do also. We did sunset strolls on the beach or golf cart rides every night. Saw dolphins, gators and a snake. Thanks again for your space in low country.

Beautiful house and area!
The house was very clean, nicely finished, comfortable seating, fully equipped kitchen and wonderful outside decks to enjoy the beautiful view. The area is very well maintained with access to the beach! We had a golf cart to use which came in handy to get over to the workout facility. There are many good restaurants to discover nearby or in Beaufort. We enjoyed some great fresh seafood! There’s a wonderful State Park nearby with many walking or biking trails. This is a lovely house with lots to explore nearby. Our only downside was the extremely, unusual cold temperatures for December! Hopefully Mother Nature will be kinder to us our next visit! We would highly recommend this rental property. Evolve and the owner were very quick to reply, instructions for check in were easy and everyone we spoke with was very professional and helpful. This is a great place!!
