"The hotel was exceptional in every way. The property is beautiful the rooms are pretty, are clean and very well appointed. The view of the chateau is absolutely spectacular. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend anyone staying in this part of France to stay at this incredibly gorgeous resort. "

"In centre of la Gacilly close to shops, restaurants, etc. A warm welcome from owner. Comfortable rooms with ensuite bathrooms. Some on ground floor at back of hotel. Quiet at night. Good night's sleep. Serve a continental breakfast. Reasonable rates. Some parking spaces outside hotel but limited. Can park nearby."

"An excellent, well managed hotel with a good atmosphere. The manageress is extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The other supporting staff are inconspicuous but the accommodation is kept extremely tidy and clean. The breakfasts are very good value and produced on the premises and unless you have a huge appetite, the basic offering should suffice. I had one dinner at the Auberge and it was noteworthy. The building is rather a ´rabbits warren’ so anyone who is considering staying, should ensure that any accessibility requirements can be met. Overall my impression was that it is a lovely place that I will try to visit again. "

"A lovely property with a large wooded garden. The photos online don’t really do it justice. It is much larger than the photos indicate. We had a very relaxing 2 weeks and explored Vannes, Josselin and many other places. It is a pet friendly house, but just a note that there are goats / sheep in the neighbouring grounds so might not be ideal for some dogs. "
