"This is a great house to base yourself and to explore the local area. It has everything you need. And ideally you can park your car inside the gates for safety, I found this very important as I was travelling by car from Ireland and I wanted the car safe. "The property was immaculate and sparkling on a arrival. Roger and his wife and their son were there to welcome us and were very helpful. The court yard was perfect for barbeques. The location of the property was 10 minutes walk from beautiful beaches and the centre of the town which has a great variety of shops and restaurants. There are lots of different areas to explore in Les Sables D'Olonne and would definitely go back again."

The VRBo listing is slightly misleading as there is no internet connection at the property however this did not spoil our holiday as we had alternative provision with our home internet provider. "This is NOT a hotel! The front desk explained that it is a condo rental. That means you do not get any cleaning, even with a8 night stay. And you get 1 bath towel, nothing else. No replacement towels, and no hand towel or washcloths. And you get 1 roll of toilet paper, then you have to buy it yourself. Having said that, the front desk staff was very helpful, when they were present. And it is only 1 block to the beach. If you have a larger rental car, beware of the enclosed parking spaces...
